Enhancements to KODAK i600 Production Scanners Increase Operational Ease and Productivity

February 2008 - A series of enhancements to the KODAK i600 Series Scanners promise to provide end users increased operational ease, flexibility, and productivity gains with faster startup and stop times and enhanced multifeed detection, operator control, and image correction. The production scanners also are now Microsoft Windows Vista Operating System compliant.
Enhancements to all KODAK i600 Series Scanners include VISTA 32 support; sequential counting without printing; Korean and Russian language support; borders for autocropped images; and blank page deletion. Further enhancing operator productivity for selected models, are added features for multifeed detection behavior and end of job function, automatic color detection capability, and paper handling enhancements for independent control of the three ultrasonic multifeed detection sensors, support for documents up to 34 inches long, and 100 and 250 sheet elevator positions.
