Contract Management Suite 3.0 To Be Released at Macworld Expo 2008

Monday 21. January 2008 - New Suite offers small and mid-sized businesses and workgroups in larger companies proven tools to manage the details of contracts and projects.

The Contract Management Company (CMC) announced that it will release the Contract Management Suite 3.0 at the Macworld Expo, January 15-18, 2008, at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.

The Suite enables full contract life-cycle management—including contract creation and compliance—all in an integrated platform that is easy to use and implement. The Suite introduces a new application, Project Pro, to CMC’s family of software, which presents a fresh approach to proven project and contract management tools such as Gantt charts resource management and issue management.

For the 3.0 release, CMC also enhanced the capabilities and interfaces of the Suite’s three other applications—Contract Wizard, Contract Warehouse and Supplier Pro—which have been used by CMC clients since 2004 with great success. In fact, CMC won the 2007 Top Performer Award from JEA, the nation’s eighth-largest municipal utility, for the benefits they directly realized from using the Suite.
A client-focused perspective is one of CMC’s hallmarks and Chris Martoglio, CMC managing director, said that CMC’s client experience greatly strengthens the new Suite. “A large part of our business is providing contract, project and program management service,” he said. “This advanced insight allows us to address specific, real-world concerns and challenges, which we have incorporated in our 3.0 Suite.”
CMC’s experience includes providing clients with on-demand contracting services—for example, negotiating and implementing contracts for nearly $400 million of goods and services just in 2007—and contract/program management. In addition to giving its software a strong advantage, CMC’s experience enables it to provide expert implementation services and to perform custom development to perfectly match the inevitable variety of clients’ needs.
While the Suite’s modules are each available as stand-alone applications, Clinton McChesney, CMC’s lead programmer, said the most part of version 3.0 is how the modules function together. “My favorite part of the Suite is the ability to work on a document, say in the Contract Wizard, and immediately view that document in one of the other modules such as Supplier Pro or Project Pro. They’re just one click away.”
CMC will offer the Suite as either a hosted solution, which benefits users in several ways including reduced maintenance costs and faster implementation, or as an on-site solution when preferred by clients. And because CMC developed the system using FileMaker Server, the Suite provides a trusted workgroup solution accessible to both MAC and Windows users.

“We are all very excited to bring the Contract Management Suite 3.0 to market,” said Martoglio. “It is a true, full life-cycle project and contract management solution for the small and mid-size business market, and for workgroups within larger corporations. Its ease-of-use and range of functionality is a breakthrough achievement for us—no one wants to struggle with new software.”

Benefits & Functions Summary of the Contract Management Suite 3.0
