Special Honour for Christian Knapp
Thursday 17. January 2008 - As a German national, KBA UK managing director Christian Knapp received a unique honour on 4th December when he was cloathed as a Liveryman of the Stationers & Newspaper Makers Company at a ceremony held at the ancient Stationers Hall close to St Pauls Cathedral.
This Company has close connections with the graphic design and communication industries including book manufacture and selling, printing, publishing, paper making, packaging, stationary and newspaper making. The Stationers Company is one of oldest livery companies within the City of London and traces its history back to the Guilds of the 1400s. Today the Company provides a network of just under 500 senior executives with an independent forum in which members can advance the interests (strategic, educational, training and charitable) of the industries served by the Company.
