Larius once again for Cal 2008

Monday 14. January 2008 - Larius matt satin is Burgo Group's premium coated paper chosen by Pirelli for 2008 edition of their Calendar. It is not a debut but a real confirmation for our papers - Larius in particular - which have been the protagonists in all the editions of this cult calendar, from 2001 to this present 35th edition set in Shangai (only exceptions 2003 and 2007).

The exotic atmosphere of a past glory is introduced by 23 portraits, whose ambition is to catch the charm, the mystery and the femininity in the wake of a mythological and evocative Far East cliché.

The result is an attempt to bring east and west close, thanks also to the presence of models coming from all over the world; moreover, it aims at portraying signs of modernity, offered by use of colours and some details, within a context of spaces and worlds far away.

Patrick Demarchelier is the author of the 2008 edition, after his debut for the Cal in 2005, set in Rio de Janeiro and, well fancy that!, printed always on Larius, by Mosaico Specialty Papers division.
