Monday 14. January 2008 - As stated by SmartCard Marketing Systems, Inc. (Pink Sheets: SMKG) Chairman and CEO Massimo Barone: "I am pleased to announce that our Gosmartcard.com platform has attained a 2800 plus transaction threshold for the single month of December (2007).

This threshold marks an important revenue stream for (Pink Sheets: SMKG) as we continue to build our recurring revenue portfolio combined with our sales. On average each transaction generates $0.20 USD to $1.20 USD for (Pink Sheets: SMKG) after related costs for processing and commissions to merchants. In addition, with Velocitymoney.com also an active application for (Pink Sheets: SMKG) we can anticipate to increase our recurring revenue stream from transactions performed on a monthly basis at a more rapid rate as we bring on more merchants and consumers in the 1st Qtr of 2008.
