Tuesday 08. January 2008 - In November 2007 our service center finished UV LED block testing we use in our NEO UV-LED printers. With no doubts it curies UV ink. The test aim was to estimate LED life-cycle in various conditions.
For example, the blocks were tested under operating and peak temperatures, also under various radiated power. In addition, we checked electronics safety and maximum lifetime, cooling system efficiency and many other activities. The result considered to be successful: under intensive exploitation of high tension current and extended impulse charge, UV LED blocks demonstrated the indices which justified the boldest hopes.
Having checked all the received data, the companys management had a decision to increase the UV LED guarantee period till 5 years starting with a purchasing date. This non-precedent step will allows our clients to get the real confirmation of the UV LED blocks lasting exploitation. Thus, the guarantee liabilities we bear, are confirmed by the proper document.
It is worth to note that the similar UV radiation systems such as, for example, UV lamps, which are used in 99% UV printers in the world, are not given any guarantee.
