Korozo Group brings food packaging innovations to Pack Expo 2024

Thursday 14. November 2024 - International flexible packaging solutions specialist Korozo Group is showing its extensive portfolio of advanced innovations suitable for various food applications to Pack Expo International 2024, running this week (3-6 November) in Chicago.

The innovations on offer include skin films for vacuum packs, thermoforming films, stand-up and flatbottom pouches, and lidding and flow wrap films. Korozo Group’s flexible films can be used to pack a variety of food items including:
Meat, poultry, seafood
Fresh and frozen foods
Cheese and dairy products
Bakery and dried goods
Pet food
Beverages and coffee
Confectionery and snacks
As well as providing the required barrier properties and performance characteristics needed to maintain product integrity, films can be engineered to be ready to recycle using Korozo’s proprietary KoroRCY polyolefin-based flexible laminated film. This film is used to create a recycle-ready film solution, which can be used in multiple chilled and high-barrier packaging applications.
Manufactured using Korozo’s in-house state of the art extrusion lines, KoroRCY features an advanced PE formulation. Key features and benefits include unrivalled levels of clarity when compared to OPP/PE and PET/PE laminates, and stiffness, strength and weight that surpasses conventional PET/PE laminates of comparable thickness.
Ideal for flexo and gravure printing, KoroRCY provides moisture and gas barriers suitable for modified atmosphere packaging (MAP) and other applications, and packs are suitable for zippers and tear notches.
