Smaller, flexible, more sustainable: CLS CAM 200 sensor enables even more precise control results
Tuesday 25. June 2024 - At drupa 2024, BST will be presenting its latest technology for 100% precision: The CLS CAM 200 camera-based line and contrast sensor can be used even more flexibly thanks to its small size and enables even better control results with optimized sensor technology.
Stable web guiding and the most precise material positioning throughout the entire production process: In the field of web guiding, BST is known for its innovative solutions at the highest technical level, which help customers minimize waste and downtimes and sustainably optimize manufacturing processes.
The new sensor star is structurally fully compatible with its predecessor and can therefore be easily replaced.
Small powerhouse: CLS CAM 200 is only half the size of its predecessor CLS Pro 600, offering customers even more flexible installation options. As with all BST sensors, connection to BST control devices is via “plug and play” – making the integration of the CLS CAM 200 into control systems easy and user-friendly. As usual, operation of the line and contrast sensor is intuitive and simplified. The sensor’s new matrix chip ensures the most accurate control results, even at highest web speeds, with which almost all relevant features on the web and web edges can be easily recorded.
Equipped for the future with BST technology
Ingo Ellerbrock, Product Manager at BST, mentions another decisive advantage of CLS CAM 200 and other BST solutions: “We want to provide our customers with all-round sustainable and long-term process optimization. The compatibility of newly developed technology with older systems is a decisive factor here. Our promise is that anyone who buys new BST products, such as the CLS CAM 200, does not have to replace the entire system, but can simply upgrade due to the identical design. This makes BST systems extremely economical and absolutely future-proof.”
