Valiani celebrates its 50 th anniversary and is pleased to announce its participation at drupa

Wednesday 05. June 2024 - Today, Valiani operates successfully not only in the sector of mountboards for frames but also in the world of printing for digital die-cutting solution, in the paper converting industry, and in the fashion sector for the creation of patterns.

Eight not-to-be-missed events in Italy and abroad will feature Valiani products: a glimpse into the future between tradition, innovation and technology
1974-2024 This year marks the 50th Anniversary of Valiani business. An important milestone achieved thanks to the daily commitment of all partners and the trust of our worldwide customers. The company has decided to celebrate this entrepreneurial success with a series of initiatives and special events together with customers, partners, and friends.
The company, founded in 1974 in Certaldo by Franco Valiani, was established with the goal of becoming the first manufacturer of mat-board cutting machines. This ambition, combined with hard work and proved knowledge, has over the years become a solid foundation for the company’s subsequent diversification activities.
As in the past years, in 2024 too, Valiani will be joining the most important exhibition both in the domestic and international stage, confirming its desire to propose innovation and its strong conviction that trade shows are the best opportunity to interact with end-users.
Therefore, Valiani has chosen eight important rounds to showcase both its products portfolio and bring innovation to the market.
The busy calendar of events will start with the West Coast Art & Framing convention in Las Vegas, United States, where Valiani, in collaboration with its long-standing partner Crescent Cardboard, from February 4th to 6th will officially present to the American audience the new Nexus Edge and the new 90° tool for trimming mats.
From March 19th to 22nd, the company will move to Amsterdam to attend Fespa 2024, where it will exhibit some of the products for the visual communication and large-format printing market. Afterwards, Valiani will fly to the United States to attend ISA in Orlando from April 10th to 12th, again exhibiting cutting machines for digital and offset printing. At both events, Valiani will share the booth with its mother company Summa NV, a world leader in the production of roll-to-roll plotters.
April will be a decisive month as proved by Texprocess exhibition, taking place from the 23rd to 26th, the leading event the textile and fashion market. In Frankfurt, we will have the pleasure of presenting our cutting machine for paper patterns and the new digital table for pattern digitization. Visitors will be able to appreciate first-hand a complete cutting room, from file preparation to cutting samples.
In May, the company will move to Germany for the most prominent trade show of the year in the printing industry, Drupa 2024, which as usual will be held in Düsseldorf from May 28th to June 7th. After 8 years of absence, Drupa will reopen its doors to worldwide visitors and experts. Valiani will be showcasing its complete range of cutting tables, as proof of its desire to reiterate its reputation in the market and to be a source of inspiration for all those seeking innovation and quality.
The second half of the year will see Valiani once again as a protagonist in the United States, specifically in Las Vegas for Printing United from September 10th to 12th, this time too with Summa America. Both companies aim at consolidating themselves as a premium brand in the American continent, thereby strengthening their presence with their full range of cutting equipment, from flatbed to automatic cutting systems.
Finally, the month of October will be a leap back in time to the framing event from which it all started, FAMAART (EX-SACA) in Bologna, which will be held from October 4th to 6th. At FAMAART, visitors will have the opportunity to “touch and feel” the Valiani mat cutting machines, with live demonstrations too. This confirms Valiani pleasure to advance in the picture-frame market, where Valiani keeps on being the frontrunner at the world level since 1974.
The trade fairs season will have its perfect conclusion at Viscom Milan, from October 16th to 18th, an event that has seen Valiani as a major player for years, and in which the company will be exhibiting its cutting machine to the Italian audience.
Valiani will thus go through an eventful 2024 during its 50-year-old anniversary. This important step is a tangible witness to the company’s longevity and reliability.
