New Folex solutions on the basis of recycled or renewable raw materials at drupa

Friday 10. May 2024 - Digitally printable materials in rolls and formats continue to be in vogue. Digital printing is also a key technology in terms of sustainability: print-on-demand makes small batches economically viable and significantly reduces waste.

However, Folex is going one important step further and will be presenting products at DRUPA that make a contribution to conserving resources on the basis of recycled or renewable raw materials.
The Dialux R-50 SI 129 backlit film from the Pure-Line with 50% post-consumer recycled content in the polyester will be presented. In addition, the tried-and-tested REGUsign stencil material has been updated and is now based on paper from certified forestry. This means that signmakers can now produce coating stencils that are not only PVC-free but also resource-friendly. The digital printing polyester films for HP Indigo and toner-based digital printing machines are also PVC-free, yet robust and durable. The Folex “Print On” range on show is rounded off by low-pollutant label films for high-speed inkjet systems.
