Constantia Flexibles acquires Lszlpack

Constantia Flexibles, a leading flexible packaging manufacturer, announces the acquisition of Lászlópack Kft, a Hungarian flexible packaging manufacturer specialising in flexographic printing.
Constantia Flexibles expands its European flexographic printing platform through the acquisition of Lászlópack Kft. Pim Vervaat, CEO of Constantia Flexibles, is pleased with the latest addition to the group: “We are growing with Lászlópack! We share the common vision of serving our customers with environmentally friendly, innovative packaging solutions. The acquisition opens up new growth opportunities for Lászlópack outside Hungary and for us to support their customers with our sustainable product offering.” Lászlópack is a local champion in the domestic flexible packaging market and has a strong track record of growth. In recent years Constantia Flexibles has expanded its European flexo printing platform through the international acquisitions of Propak in Turkey, FFP Packaging Solutions in the UK, Drukpol in Poland and now Lászlópack in Hungary.

Lászlópack Kft. operates a plant in Komarom, about 100 km northwest of Budapest. Its approximately 87 employees mainly supply the local market and selected export countries with food applications. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
