Because there are still vacancies – even at a renowned high-tech company like Schreiner Group from Oberschleißheim. Because the successful “hidden champion” in the north of Munich has been growing enormously for years and needs even more junior staff than before due to the promising future prospects, the family-owned company recently introduced the concept of the “fast” application for apprentices.
Since the beginning of February, anyone interested in an apprenticeship at Schreiner Group no longer has to formulate a formal cover letter or necessarily enter their data in the online career portal. “We want to get in touch with interested young people quickly and without complications. That’s why we are happy if they simply send their CV by e-mail to jobs@schreiner-group.com in the first step. If you like, you are also welcome to attach your interim reference,” says Ronald Heck, HR Manager at Schreiner Group.
The innovative company is primarily looking for trainees for technical professions such as media technician, machine and plant operator, warehouse specialist or industrial mechanic. However, there are also vacancies for commercial trainees. 1,200 employees at Schreiner Group produce more than 2.5 billion high-tech labels per year – for almost all major pharmaceutical and automotive companies. Particularly well-known products are, for example, the Swiss motorway vignette or the fine dust sticker.
“Everyone comes into contact with our products often, there are up to 300 parts from us hidden in a car alone. Since we are growing very successfully, we can now offer even more of our coveted apprenticeships,” says Managing Director Roland Schreiner happily. The apprentices can expect the best conditions: Intensive and personal support, 30 days of holiday, joint trainee days and many company events await them. In addition, Schreiner Group has already received the award “Training Company of the Year” and takes on more than 90 percent of its trainees.
