Epson Business Systems becomes hybrid virtual dialogue platform

March 2021 - Following the successful introduction of the Epson hybrid stand, a composition of physical and virtual exhibition stand, which was initially intended mainly for events of its Robotic Solutions division, the manufacturer is now extending this concept to its Business Systems (BS) division.
Epson is extending its successful concept of a hybrid exhibition stand in the Industrial Solutions Center+ to its Business Systems division.
Epson BS is using the hybrid stand specifically for the sales and marketing of its label printers, for example the recently introduced ColorWorks C6xxx series. Thanks to the joint use of the stand by Robotic Solutions and BS, presentations of combined solutions of robots with label printers are also possible. This platform allows the CO2-free implementation of larger international events, where even individual questions can be dealt with in detail. The first use of this new tool for BS will be a follow-up to this year’s “BioFach”, where Epson presented its sustainable solutions for the food label packaging market. As with Robotic Solutions, events for the hybrid stand are also booked via an online tool for the Business Systems department.
Christoph Ruhnke, Manager Business Systems at Epson Deutschland GmbH, explains: “Like our colleagues from Robotic Solutions, we are also dependent on the closest possible communication with our customers, distributors and integrators due to our products, which require a great deal of explanation. Due to the cancellation of practically all presence fairs last year and probably also this year, we are glad to take the opportunity to use an equivalent communication channel with the new hybrid stand. The experience we have gained so far has made our entry into this form of communication noticeably easier. We will set up an environment in our area of the stand that meets the requirements of the upcoming events and, of course, colleagues from the technical sales department will be present to answer any questions that may arise. With the hybrid stand, we combine the advantages of virtual and presence trade fairs.”
