Esko winner of the French packaging innovation awards 2020 for Print Control Wizard technology
Tuesday 01. December 2020 - Global supplier of integrated hardware and software solutions for the print and packaging sectors, Esko, has been crowned the winner in the Digital Print and Technologies category of the packaging innovation awards 2020, organized in France by the company G.I.S.I, for its Print Control Wizard software.
Multi-award-winning technology brings a new level of simplification to plate-making department.
Multi-award-winning solution, Print Control Wizard, was developed in response to industry demands to simplify the implementation of screens and dot gain curves in the flexo reprographics process. To secure the award, Esko demonstrated how its innovative technology met initial objectives, creating greater ease and consistency for customers.
“We originally designed Print Control Wizard to have a positive impact on a broad range of reprographics processes. It offers the sector a simplified, standardized approach to screen and curve creation and outputs a new screening algorithm taking into account a wide range of flexo plate and print variables. Since the solutions initial launch in 2019, weve unveiled generation 20.0 to drive continuous improvement for Esko customers across the print and packaging sectors,” said Robert Bruce, RIP & Screening Product Manager at Esko.
Print Control Wizard 20.0 incorporates a wealth of efficiency-driving features, such as an improved test chart layout, enhanced interface and reporting and Platemaking Wizard – a central storage location for Esko CDI setup. The solution is available as part of the companys integrated software portfolio, Esko Software 20.
Esko continues to develop its best-selling suite of software solutions for customers in the packaging value chain. The packaging innovation awards is organized in France by Groupe Industrie Services Info (“GISI”) and highlights the industrys best packaging innovations of the year.
