Dr. Hönle AG acquires UV-Technik Meyer GmbH

Friday 18. September 2020 - Dr. Hönle AG acquires 100% of the shares in UV-Technik Meyer GmbH, which is based in Ortenberg (Hesse). UV-Technik Meyer GmbH looks back on more than 30 years of experience. The company primarily sells UV lamps and ballasts for various applications and thus generates annual sales of approximately EUR 4 - 5 million.

Through the acquisition, the Hönle Group increases its market share and further expands its competence in the lamp segment. Overall, the Hönle Group is very well positioned with this acquisition, especially for the growth markets ballast water and air disinfection.
The acquisition of UV-Technik Meyer GmbH will take place on 1 October 2020. The parties agreed to maintain silence about the purchase price.
