As one of the premier commercial printers in British Columbia, Canada, Thunderbird’s success is the direct result of skill, dedication to craftsmanship and its employees’ determination to provide total customer satisfaction. Thunderbird Press recently started using Azura chemistry-free plates from Agfa Graphics to be more environmentally sustainable.
“We want to ensure that our people enjoy a good, successful working environment. Azura offers chemistry-free plate production,” said Edwin Nosworthy, Vice-President, Thunderbird Press Ltd. “The Azura system provides high-quality imaging while reducing chemistry, waste and energy usage. Our pre-press staff quickly transitioned to Azura plates for more stable and consistent outcomes. These plates run cleaner than our previous plates, and we reduced our time spent on maintenance.”
It’s easy to see how Thunderbird Press has built a respected and trusted reputation among employees, customers, and industry peers. The company counts its family culture as a major strength. Its mission is to create value for its clients and for the company, while maintaining a good working environment for its staff. Azura is helping Thunderbird meet that objective.
