Lucky Edale number seven for Kingfisher Labels
Friday 12. October 2018 - Kingfisher Labels based in Yate, North Bristol have recently purchased another Edale flexopress taking their total number of Edale presses to 7!
Edale have had a longstanding relationship with Kingfisher Labels since they installed their first Edale press in 2001.
UK based and family owned Kingfisher Labels was established in 1996 and has risen to become a leader in servicing the self-adhesive label sector including Food, Cosmetic and Healthcare. The new installation is part of an ongoing investment strategy from Kingfisher Labels Ltd.
Andy Watts Sales Director, Kingfisher Labels, said: “The Edale FL3 press will support our growth plans and extend our capabilities. We can now produce a greater range of labels particularly complex designs requiring a high number of colours. The FL3 press is also equipped with many quality control and time-saving features which will help us strengthen the quality and service levels we deliver to our customers.”
The Edale FL3 is an 8 colour full UV 350 wide press with an array of rail mounted options including a turn bar, delam / relam, cold foil and lamination. The press also has chill rolls installed to give them the opportunity to diversify into new markets such as sleeves, wrap around labels, pouches and sachets.
Louise Bailey, Edales Sales and Marketing manager states -“We are absolutely delighted to work with Kingfisher on the investment of the FL3. They are an extremely valued customer and we are excited to see what the future holds.”
Production Director, Karl Jackson said “the time had come for Kingfisher to invest in the very latest servo technology allowing us to print on the most demanding of substrates. When we trialled the FL3 at Edale it was clear to see this was the right choice, changing from unsupported film to label stock the machine was faultless. The Edale team have been a joy to work with again helping us customise the machine to our own requirements. “
The Edale FL3 is due to be installed in November this year.
