Phoseon Presents UV Curing Using LED Technology at Deco 2018
Monday 12. March 2018 - Phoseon will showcase the latest UV LED curing solutions for decorative printing applications at the upcoming Deco 2018 event in Columbus, OH. “Direct to container printing is becoming more realistic due in part to high power, low heat LED curing technology as well as major advancements in LED curable inks and print engine technology” says Mr. Higgins. “The compact nature of UV LED lamps allows them to be mounted in tight spaces very close to the substrate. This makes printing directly on the container, even cylindrical objects, a reality. Removing the label from the manufacturing process significantly reduces overall manufacturing costs and thus many in the industry are heading this direction.”
