Durst to help customers configure digital future at Label&Print
Thursday 01. March 2018 - Durst, manufacturer of advanced digital production technologies, will be presenting the stunning results obtained from its Durst Tau label and specialty packaging printers at Label&Print 2018 at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) in Birmingham, UK.
On its stand, H11, on 28 February and 1 March, senior label team members will be showing latest samples from across the range of UV inkjet label and specialty packaging printing presses, as well as developments in software and hybrid solutions.
In line with Dursts “Configure Your Digital Future” theme, they will be meeting customers and prospects over the two days of the show co-located with Empack and Packaging Innovations in halls 9 and 10 at the NEC.
Among the highlights will be samples printed on the Durst Tau RSC featuring 130 mm (13 in.) print width combined with leading-edge print speed of up to 78 linear meters/min (245 ft./min) at 1200 x 1200 dpi printing resolutions. This works as a standalone printer, as a printing system in combination with the inline laser finishing system LFS 330, or as a hybrid solution with the addition of conventional finishing options in the OMET XFLex-X6 series.
Other examples will also be shown from products printed on the Durst Tau 330E, a cost-effective standalone UV inkjet label press for small and medium size companies active in the label printing business. The single pass UV inkjet label press is supplied with the new highly pigmented UV inks, which with a lower load of ink will reach high quality print results, thus substantially reducing the overall ink consumption.
Mike Englander, Dursts Business Development, Labels & Package Printing, said: “Label&Print is another important show to provide insights into our Durst Tau game-changing technology that boasts unmatched printing speed and printing quality and, together with software, is a perfect solution for label converters looking for an industrial scale digital press solution. Were looking forward to meeting dozens of visitors over the two days. Make sure you visit our stand, H11, you certainly wont be disappointed.”
