Ricoh client event in Telford

Tuesday 14. November 2017 - Senior executives from commercial, transactional, direct mail printers and publishers will see at first hand Ricohs latest wave of innovations at the Art of the New event programme. This latest annual exclusive client event taking place at Ricohs European Customer Experience Centre, Telford, will run from 21 - 23 November.

Among the firsts presented will be the global unveiling of the Ricoh Pro V20000 series continuous feed inkjet platform. It can produce profitably a wide range of mono applications from books and direct mail to pharmaceutical leaflets.

Another is the newly enhanced Ricoh Pro VC60000 flagship continuous feed system. The latest update includes cost reduction measures such as an intelligent protector coat that covers just the printed area and a new 200 litre undercoating system. There is also a new black ink that reduces cleaning, saving time and further costs,new printing speeds that support smoother inline finishing and a digital front end based ink monitor that will help give feedback on each job that is printed.

There is also the first European showing of the Ricoh Pro VC40000 colour continuous feed inkjet platform. It is designed to deliver high quality output with enhanced productivity.

After a welcome at the brand new executive Briefing Centre, attendees will enjoy a rich mix of varied content. They include high level presentations, master classes, a panel discussion and Q&As. For example, print consultant Sean Smyth will detail the changing role of analogue and digital printing and Tim Taylor, Head of Continuous Feed Market, Ricoh Europe, will discuss the best use of inkjet.

The power of Ricoh’s partnerships will be highlighted by technology experts from Hunkeler, Tecnau and Kern. The benefits of the right collaboration will be expanded on in an offline vs inline finishing panel discussion. Test-Tech paper and print consultant Richard Saunders will also detail the importance of choosing the right substrates.

There will be an opportunity to get an overview of the latest software updates when browsing the Smart Factory and Solutions Studio. Attendees can also see the sheet fed, large format, hybrid printers and Direct to Garment technology at the CEC. Completing the packed agenda will be master classes on automated workflow to drive productivity, intelligent print production and colour management to boost efficiency.
