Tuesday 23. May 2017 - Food packaging manufacturer Siam Toppan Packaging runs a Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) program designed to minimize losses caused by breakdowns, keep all its machines running effectively, and enhance the quality of its products. In line with its TPM system, Siam Toppan Packaging has engaged BOBST to run four Maintenance Plus programs on its die-cutters and hot-foil stampers, and to carry out two Platen Conditioning interventions.

“Because of these two BOBST programs, productivity is up 15-20% on these machines and set-up times have been reduced by 20%,” explains Saeneewat Chamnanya, Manager of the 580-employee plant. Siam Toppan Packaging has a long relationship with BOBST says Mr. Chamnanya. “We have been working and learning together for the past 22 years.”
