Ricoh showcases glittering future for PSPS with expansive product portfolio at Fespa 2017
Monday 15. May 2017 - Whether it is banners, labels and posters, or ceramic tiles and floor standing display units, Ricoh will be demonstrating the creative possibilities its large format print production portfolio opens up for Print Service Providers at FESPA 2017, Hamburg, from 8 to 12 May.
Set to be a popular draw as well is the Ricoh Pro L4160 latex large format printer. The first latex system to achieve global Color-Logic certification can reproduce accurately a host of metallic finishes. Examples at FESPA will range from wine, beer and haircare labels to posters and pop up banners. The Pro L4160 will also produce Color-Logic swatches and high impact A3 metallic posters in mirror, matt and rainbow finishes.
Also on show will be the wide variety of applications produced by the EFI H1625 Hybrid UV LED wide format printer. A feature wall will include printed ceramic tiles, 3mm black board, 6mm polystyrene, clear perspex and reflective steel traffic signs. There will be floor standing display units displaying Color-Logic swatches. Visitors can also see whiskey and bourbon boxes featuring Color-Logic finishes, as well as pyramid packaging that demonstrates proof of concept and short run production opportunities. They can take away Foamex cutout guitars and robots, plus a variety of corrugated coaster-style designs.
Ricoh will present the innovative Khora no-adhesive assembly photography box display product from James Cropper. This is also printed on the EFI H1625 and features images taken on the Ricoh Theta 360 degree camera. Visitors will have the opportunity to win their own Ricoh Theta 360 camera in a twice daily competition to create their own mesmerising shots.
“Ricoh technology and expertise is capable of helping designers and printers create a wealth of products for strong growth markets,” comments Erwin Busselot, Business Innovations & Solutions (BIS) Director, Commercial and Industrial Printing, Ricoh Europe.
