HSA Systems & Lake Image Systems Introduce a High Speed Print and Verify Solution for Pharma Applications at Interpack 2017

Tuesday 09. May 2017 - At Interpack 2017, our partner HSA Systems and Lake Image Systems will highlight a joint Print and Verify Solution for Pharmaceutical cartons, running at high speed.

300 meters/minute at 300 x 300 DPI
600 meters/minute at 300 x 150 DPI.
With the HSAJET 2 x 1/2″ High Speed Premium Inkjet printheads, together with the Lake Image camera verification system (Discovery Multiscan), it is easy for pharmaceutical manufacturers and contract packers to comply with the Falsified Medicines Directive (FMD) and other international regulatory demands.

At Interpack 2017, HSA Systems will be demonstrating:

Discovery Multiscan System
Printing a variable 2D barcode and an 8 digit alphanumeric string onto Pharmaceutical cartons using two HSAJET 1/2″ side-by-side Premium printheads.
Using the Lake Image GR6 camera and Discovery Multiscan, each 2D and alphanumeric string is read, verified and matched against the database.
Any defective codes are automatically marked with a red dot using the HSAJET 1″ Micron Printer, placed 50cm along the belt.
