NALC Establishes Four Scholarship Endowments with PGSF
Thursday 12. January 2017 - The National Association of Litho Clubs (NALC) Foundation has taken the steps to establish four endowed scholarships with the Print and Graphics Scholarship Foundation (PGSF).
These endowments demonstrate their commitment to the industry and closed out the 60th anniversary year of PGSF. The NALC Foundation was formed in 1970 and has a long history of supporting education in the graphic arts industry.
The endowments have been established as follows:
Bill Staudt/Cincinnati Litho Scholarship, funded with $29,000
Cleveland Litho Club Scholarship, funded with $25,000
Richard M. Worthington/NALC Scholarship, funded with $42,000
Rae Goss Scholarship, funded with $62,000
“PGSF is dedicated to promoting careers in the graphic arts, and we are pleased to provide this vehicle for the NALC to do the same,” said John Berthelsen, VP-Development for PGSF. “With the establishment of these endowments, they have demonstrated a great model for others to follow and provided a perpetual testament of their dedication to the industry.”
Betsy Gandelman Fiske, Chair of the NALC Foundation added, “For many years, the NALC has been known for its efforts to educate and inform members of the industry. With this commitment to the Print and Graphics Scholarship Foundation, the members of our association continue to demonstrate their leadership by investing in the future of the industry.”
