Inca appoints Perfect Colours as UK distributor for new SpyderX
Thursday 06. October 2016 - Perfect Colours adds 3.2m wide, UV flat-bed and roll-fed Inca SpyderX printer to its extensive portfolio of large-format printers
Inca Digital, a leading manufacturer of UV wide-format printers, has appointed specialist large-format printer solutions supplier Perfect Colours as UK distributor for its new Inca SpyderX dual flatbed/roll-to-roll printer. The SpyderX is the first model to be sold through Incas reseller network which also includes Schneidler Grafiska in Sweden, and Digital HiRes in Spain.
The SpyderX builds on the heritage of Incas successful Spyder 320 range, the high-performance Onset platform and the innovative OnsetX Series launched last year. The versatile 6-colour + white SpyderX inkjet printer uses Inca ink, features 3.2m wide flat-bed and roll-fed capability for handling rigid and flexible substrates, and delivers high-speed (230 sqm/hr) production with sharp, pin-point accuracy.
Jon Telling, sales director, Perfect Colours, says: “Perfect Colours strives to select best-in-category products for its portfolio, so Incas SpyderX is a perfect fit. Demand for mid-range, dedicated flat-beds is soaring in the sign and graphics market and the Inca name already has a deserved reputation for consistency and quality, which is in line with our own brand ambitions. The fact that the SpyderX is engineered and manufactured in the UK appeals to Perfect Colours and our customers alike and were enthusiastic to take it to a new audience.”
Today almost 700 Inca printers – all designed and manufactured at Incas HQ in Cambridge, UK – are in operation globally producing superb-quality graphics and POS materials.
John Mills, CEO, Inca Digital, says: “We are delighted that Perfect Colours is joining Incas network of resellers. The company is well-recognised in the UK for providing a first-rate sales and after-service to its customers and with its considerable knowledge and expertise within the large-format sector we are very confident that it will be a successful partnership.”
