Presstek and Riviera Beverages Showcase Customized Water Bottles at Graph Expo
Friday 30. September 2016 - Presstek, LLC, leading provider of eco-friendly printing solutions, today announced that Presstek customer and water bottle manufacturer, Riviera Beverages, has produced a range of special, co-branded bottle labels for Graph Expo 2016. Presstek is offering these unique, labelled water bottles to visitors who come to the Presstek booth (# 2731) as an exclusive show give away.
Riviera Beverages is a leading provider of bottled beverages in North America. The company installed a Presstek 34DI Digital Offset Printing Press in 2014 and has been utilizing this highly productive system to produce customized labels for many high-profile beverage brands.
“As an environmentally-conscious supplier to the beverage industry, we were looking for a press that met these requirements without compromising on quality or production efficiency,” explained Wilfredo Orozco, General Manager, Riviera Beverages. “The Presstek 34D1 was the perfect solution. Since its installation, we’ve expanded our range of unique, high-quality labels and regularly print special labels, just like those produced for Graph Expo.”
The Presstek 34DI is ideally suited for fast turnaround, high-quality short-runs. Offering a streamlined workflow, production time and costs are reduced and users are therefore able to produce more jobs, more profitably in less time.
To further increase production efficiency and extend its substrate range, Riviera Beverages is planning to upgrade its 34DI to a 52DI press in the near future. A highly automated, four-color digital offset press, the 52DI is capable of printing on a broad range of substrate thicknesses (up to 20pt) and as such, provides users with increased application capabilities, efficient throughput, and therefore, increased profitability.
The quality achievable on Presstek DI presses is also consistently high and, as the presses are waterless, better color saturation is achieved with less dot gain, and a larger color gamut.
