Double monitoring during numbering

Wednesday 18. May 2016 - LEIBINGER features numbering machines, camera verification systems and industrial inkjet printers at drupa

The numbering machine and marking specialist Paul LEIBINGER is presenting its LENservo electronically controlled random numbering system, which features a new double monitoring function as well as variants for passport printing, at drupa. Furthermore, the camera and marking systems from LEIBINGER round off the drupa trade show portfolio.

The LENservo electronically controlled, servomotor-driven numbering machine is ideal for banknote and security printing. LENservo combines the attributes of mechanical LEIBINGER numbering machines such as sturdiness with maximum flexibility. While mechanical numbering machines offer only two options – counting forwards or backwards – the LENservo gives you complete flexibility when programming the numbering sequences. The position of the number wheels is monitored via the servo motors. LEIBINGER is also presenting a truly one-of-a-kind, additional monitoring system at drupa. Paul LEIBINGER will also show the LENservoP variant for numbering passport documents and single banknotes to the public for the first time at drupa. The individual parts in the LENservoP are designed to comply with specific requirements for passport printing and hot-foil applications, for example.

In the verification area, LEIBINGER will be presenting its self-developed LKS 5 camera system at drupa. This verification system is a reliable solution for printing control and monitoring fixed data as well as variable data such as digits, letters, barcodes, 2D codes as well as for presence and logo control. The LKS 5 camera system can be used as a standalone solution or in conjunction with a LEIBINGER continuous inkjet printer, which will also be presented at drupa. The LEIBINGER JET3up and JET2neo inkjet printers mark all possible products and materials such as cardboard and paper – without ever making contact – imprinting fixed and variable data such as expiration dates, LOT/batch numbers or codes.
