Multiple new products due from SMAG

Friday 04. September 2015 - This September SMAG (stand 7A15) will be celebrating 20 years of active participation at Labelexpo Europe. To celebrate this momentous occasion, SMAG will demonstrate a number of new pieces of equipment. This anniversary event will be incredibly large, and most importantly, provide innovative technologies that the label industry has come to expect from SMAG.

Product launch highlights are set to include:

New high speed screen station (SP model) integrated on several Digital Galaxie Systems: running speeds of 30 meters per minute, large format size, flat bed technology, standard ink and frames, and high accuracy.

Automatic length slitting adjustment available for the Digital Galaxie, E-Cut and Sirius: automatic work flow adjustment, save positioning set up knives and eliminating potential dimensional errors.

Laser die cutting station (powered by Spartanics USA) on Digital Galaxie: New 400 Watt laser technology, fastest processing speeds, unprecedented workflow software, and ability to cut a wider variety of materials.

3D Jet varnish and digital foil presented in cooperation with MGI: digital printing has been revolutionary! Digital converting is the next step! 100% digital finishing by eliminating the need for mechanical tooling. All is controlled via the workflow: electronic screen, electronic foil, laser die powered by Spartanics.

RFID Inserting solution: a simple but productive efficient solution for RFID tags.

Fully automatic turret rewinder (powered by Errepi) completely dedicated for small reels on small cores.

Full servo slitter rewinder inspection range type Sirius.

Table top multi-usage rewinder Vega 2.
