Treofan introduces software-based global innovation management

Wednesday 26. November 2014 - BOPP film maker Treofan is implementing an integrated, software-based, global innovation management process. As part of this approach, the company has invested a six-digit Euro amount in project management software Sopheon Accolade, of which a custom-made version has been installed over the past months. Final tests as well as staff trainings are currently running, for the system to go live in the next couple of weeks.

“Treofan has a great heritage as an innovator”, says CEO Peter Vanacker. “Our new, software-based approach will enable us to bring even more innovations to the market in even shorter time.” Vanacker adds: “There is a growing demand globally for sustainable, intelligent solutions in the area of packaging, but also, for example, in electronics. We are convinced there are great opportunities for new technologies, and even new applications of our films.”
