Abbey Labels Installs Their First MPS Press
Tuesday 16. September 2014 - Abbey Labels recently purchased their first MPS EF UV flexo press
MPS today announced the installation of an EF UV flexo press into Abbey Labels, a new MPS customers based in the UK. The press has been installed successfully last month at Abbey’s factory in Bury St Edmunds, UK.
Abbey Labels, one of the UK’s leading label manufacturers located in the East Anglia region has installed an EF UV multi substrate flexo press, the 8 colour full UV machine has a web width of 340mm. The press will be equipped with an “APC” automation extension package, which contains servo positioning motors to automatically set the desired print pressure settings. Chairman Tom Allum of Abbey Labels comments: “Innovative technology, ease of operation and the ability to print on a wide range of substrates are the three main reasons why Abbey Labels opted for MPS. Every operator is able to work with the press, as the print operations and settings are self-explanatory. In addition, the press touch screen and controls are simple to operate delivering consistent print and productivity results time and time again”.
