X-Rite Pantone Demonstrates New Solutions for Quality Color Management at PaperCon 2014 in Nashville

Wednesday 30. April 2014 - X-Rite to show powerful solutions for companies in the paper, packaging and converting industries that want to manage production batches and control costs.

X-Rite Inc. will demonstrate new solutions for the measurement and management of color for the paper, packaging and converting industries at the PaperCon 2014 show to be held April 26-30 in Nashville.
X-Rite Pantone representatives and partner, Spectratech Services Corp., at booth 1108 of the Nashville Renaissance/Nashville Convention Center complex, will demonstrate hardware and software solutions that range from the new ERX50 Series and Ci64UV spectrophotometers to the SpectraLight QC light booth.
For free expo hall entrance passes, a $350 value, attendees can register here http://www.xrite.com/papercon-2014.
The ERX50 is a non-contact spectrophotometer designed to perform in-line color measurement and closed-loop color control for the manufacturing of all paper and board types. In-line measurement and closed-loop color control allow for shorter start-up and shade change times, reduced waste, and consistency in manufacturing color quality. The ERX50 represents X-Rite turnkey systems that include software, hardware and pump systems for dispensing dyes and colorants.
The Ci64UV is X-Rite’s response to customer needs for a versatile handheld spectrophotometer. The Ci64UV provides quality control of color for paper and packaging materials, along with the capability of generating audit trails to ensure productivity for facilities with multiple sites. The product is equipped with UV illumination to support accurate color measurement of materials that contain optical brightener agents.
In addition to the ERX50 Series and Ci64UV spectrophotometers, other solutions that will be highlighted at the conference include:
SpectraLight QC light booth that offers more standardized illumination sources than any visual assessment QC solution on the market, correctly replicating the lighting that one would find in natural daylight, at the shopping mall, at home or in other settings;
Color iMatch system that provides quick, accurate color analysis and color formulations for materials; and,
Color iQC quality control software that removes the guesswork from evaluating colors, which simplifies processes and increases efficiency while ensuring accurate color control.
