Live demonstrations of the New Cost-Effective EB Flexo Press in upcoming MPS Open House
Tuesday 29. April 2014 - The EF multi-substrate flexo press also to be demonstrated during the MPS open house May 14, 15 and 16th at the MPS factory in Didam, The Netherlands.
MPS today announced its open house taking place May, 14, 15 and 16th, 2014 at company headquarters in Didam, The Netherlands. Live demonstrations and presentations of the brand new MPS EB flexo and EF multi-substrate presses will be held, to show printers and converters how these presses can benefit their label printing production. MPS will also share tips to help improve printing processes, highlight the range of MPS services and technical support programs available, and provide information relating to cutting-edge printing topics ranging from prepress production, levels of automation, substrates, inks, tooling and more.
Live label print jobs will be demonstrated on the new EB flexo press, which is built with a combination of high-quality MPS printing technology, optimal performance and a strong focus on affordability. It is designed to print self-adhesive label jobs at optimal performance while reducing overall printing costs. Engineered with several unique features such as short-web technology, iStop and a pre-register solution to minimize waste and set-up time, the EB press is available with a print width of 360mm (14,17″ inches) and a material width of 370mm (14,5″ inches). With the new EB press, MPS offers a mid-range machine with a much lower entry investment level to accommodate printers and converters seeking this type of solution.
In addition to the EB press, the EF flexo multi-substrate press series will also be demonstrated. This top-selling MPS press type can convert a vast variety of different substrates and designs and can be equipped with a wide range of converting options, including gravure and screen. Automation packages and control systems can extend the productivity of the EF press even further.
