Another step toward stronger customer orientation
Tuesday 01. April 2014 - Treofan creates new business unit for electronic applications
With effect from April 1, Treofan Group is consolidating its activities in the field of technical films into a new Electronics Business Unit. Until now, the company has managed its capacitor film business and its innovative new TreoPore microporous separator films separately from one another. Mark Neville will take the helm as the Executive Vice President of the Electronics Business Unit. In recent months, Neville has succeeded in establishing TreoPore on the international lithium-ion battery market.
“This consolidation is another step forward in our realignment of internal structures and processes around customers’ needs and wishes”, comments Peter Vanacker, CEO of the Raunheim-based BOPP film manufacturer. “We’ve combined our broad spectrum of expertise in the area of technical films into a single business unit, which will enable us to work even more intensively on developing innovative solutions together with our partners in the electronics industry.”
Treofan is continuing to press ahead with its structural transition from product-oriented to industry-oriented processes. Recently, the company also created separate business units for packaging films, labeling films, and tobacco films. These are headed by Yvo van Vliet, Executive Vice President, Commercial Operations.
