Asian Paper 2014 – Bigger and Better

Thursday 14. November 2013 - Asian Paper, the only proven, dedicated exhibition and event for the pulp and paper industry in South-East Asia , will be held once again in Bangkok 23-25 April 2014.

Asian Paper 2012, also held in Bangkok, was a great success with 4,528 visitors from 60 countries – an increase of over 25% from the 2010 event – reinforcing the fact that the pulp and paper industry in Asia continues to be of major importance to the global pulp and paper industry.
South-East Asia continues to be seen by forecasters and experts as the “engine of growth” for the worldwide pulp and paper industry, with growth rates in packaging estimated at around 4.5%, tissue at 5.3% and graphic papers at around 3.8%.
Building on the success of the 2012 event, Asian Paper 2014 is set to be even bigger and better with important industry regional producers present at the show including APP and APRIL, as well as a whole host of international suppliers, including ABK, Garuda Engineering Technologies, Dechangyu Paper Machinery Manufacturer, Kadant Lamort and Lorentzen & Wettre. The show also boasts of the France, Finland and CPPI pavilions, as well as new pavilions for India and Singapore.
In full support of global interest in the thriving South-East Asian area – and as well as the exhibition  – Asian Paper also provides satellite events giving visitors and delegates a host of great opportunities to learn and fully engage with the industry in the region. These events include:
Hosted Buyer Programme
This new Asian Paper initiative will invite and host an exclusive number of senior level decision-making buyers for a two -night complimentary hotel stay at the Asian Paper official hotel for visiting the most strategic pulp, paper and board industrial event in Asia.
Business Matching Programme
The business matching programme is another new initiative from Asian Paper, which is capturing many exhibitors’ attention. Simply put, this is a mechanism where pre-registered visitors are matched with exhibitors prior to the start of the show, thereby ensuring that the exhibitors who opt in for this programme will benefit fully upon meeting their right matches during the show.
Senior Management Symposium (SMS)
The SMS will address important issues both in the region and across the globe, and will have a speaker list of high-level CEOs and executives from the leading companies in the region. This symposium is the perfect opportunity to find out what is happening in the region, as well as the rest of the pulp and paper world.
New Applied Technology Conference (NAT)
If the very latest in technology is within your area, the NAT will look at state-of-the-art equipment that is revolutionising the industry in terms of energy savings and improvements in quality. Further, the exhibition floor will enable visitors to see a lot of that new technology in action.
Mill Visit
Another highlight of Asian Paper 2014 is the mill visit, which is an excellent opportunity to see new technology in action on- site at Thailand’s world class paper making facilities.
