manroland web systems and S.E.M. announce joint service cooperation
Friday 11. October 2013 - Printing companies in the German-speaking market can profit from the bundled competence of the two companies for one-stop maintenance support
Good news for German printing companies: manroland web systems GmbH and S.E.M. Servicegesellschaft für Elektrik und Mechanik mbH are now cooperation partners offering one stop maintenance services for web customers: manroland web systems’ Managing Director Eckhard Hoerner-Marass and S.E.M.’s Managing Director Achim Trenkner signed a cooperation agreement at the World Publishing Expo 2013 at Berlin, thus ensuring the customers of manroland web systems comprehensive and professional maintenance from one source.
The cooperation is a long-term arrangement, and the partners will jointly pursue the objective to take proactive care of the graphics industry in the German-speaking countries with a full portfolio of services. The offer ranges from top level maintenance to everyday cleaning – integrated full service from one source.
Press cleaning, planned maintenance, inspection, or spare parts: these and many other maintenance services will now be handled by manroland web systems and S.E.M. together. The customer’s contract partner and contact will be one of the two companies, depending on the specific task profile of the customer. The offer is valid in the German speaking countries and extends beyond the manroland web systems printing systems: to also include services for the prepress, finishing, distribution, and building departments of the customer.
Flexible, individual, customer-oriented
“With this cooperation we are combining manroland web systems’ highly specific, sophisticated know-how with S.E.M.’s profound knowledge in work management and decades of service experience,” says manroland web systems’ Managing Director Eckhard Hoerner-Marass. “This addition to our both portfolio is a decisive advantage and a real plus for our customers. Now they will be attended to even more flexibly and individually.”
“For around 40 years printing managers have trusted in S.E.M,” says S.E.M.’s Managing Director Achim Trenkner. “With 170 employees and strategically well-positioned branches in Munich, Berlin, Hamburg, and Essen we are active all over Germany and have always been close to the customer. We offer regular maintenance services, as well as highly complex error analyses and the corresponding repairs, or electrotechnical and plant-specific tasks.”
