CCI expands global reach with new Brazil office

Wednesday 14. August 2013 - The leading provider of editorial and advertising solutions, CCI opens its latest office in the hub of Latin America - São Paulo.

CCI’s operation in Brazil is lead by Michael Taylor, a seasoned professional with 20 years of experience at internationally recognized media companies. The last 12 years he worked at The Washington Post, where he was responsible for newsroom technology needs. Prior to that, he worked at The Dallas Morning News. He was an integral part of CCI installations at both companies.
“I started my career as a traditional journalist, working as a reporter, editor, copy editor and layout editor. But I was fascinated by publishing technologies and ended up leading engineers and application specialists who support today’s non-stop media companies,” Taylor said. “Understanding two worlds, I serve as a bridge between journalists and engineers, interpret-ing needs they haven’t thought to consider.”
Though the company has been active in the region for more than 10 years, serving O Globo in Brazil and El Mercurio S.A. of Chile, “this expansion reaffirms CCI’s commitment to the Latin American market,” said Carsten Boe Jensen, President of CCI, Inc.
“We have found that our software solutions are an excellent match with the interests and needs of media companies in this rapidly developing part of the world,” he said. “Having a physical presence in São Paulo enables us to serve current and future customers even better. And Michael’s background proves that he understands the needs of today’s news industry.”
