Friday 09. August 2013 - When Certified Personal Trainer Bobby Tran began the Workhorse Lifestyle, his goal was to build a brand devoted to "health, progression, work ethic and true grit". His "work hard, live easy" mantra has taken off with many and the Workhorse Lifestyle has blossomed.

The Opportunity
When Certified Personal Trainer Bobby Tran began the Workhorse Lifestyle, his goal was to build a brand devoted to “health, progression, work ethic and true grit”. His “work hard, live easy” mantra has taken off with many and the Workhorse Lifestyle has blossomed.
As an entrepreneur, Bobby spends many of his days traveling to and from the sites where he holds customized training sessions for clients and groups. Another aspect of his growing fitness business is the sale of his custom Workhorse Lifestyle apparel line, which is he sells at different sites and college campuses during special events.
When not working long hours, Bobby was designing and creating his brand, and brand marketing, from the ground up—signs and graphics were low on the list of priorities. That led him to enter into the 2012 MetamorphoSIGN contest.
The Challenge
The Workhorse Lifestyle received the most votes within the vehicle-based category for the 2012 MetamorphoSIGN contest. As the winner of that category, Bobby met with FASTSIGNS to discuss his business goals and visual communications objectives.
Always on the go, Bobby needed to be able to promote the Workhorse Lifestyle in a way that was friendly to his mobile lifestyle—easy to transport, easy to set up and easy to take down. With a strong brand and culture already in place, he also needed to make sure any new signs and graphics aligned with his current visual marketing strategy.
The Solution
After consulting with Bobby, FASTSIGNS put together solutions to address his “on the go” visual communications needs.
To help Bobby make an impression everywhere he goes, FASTSIGN used the Workhorse Lifestyle brand elements to create subtle vehicle graphics for his Jeep, turning it into a moving billboard. For events where he sells his apparel lines, FASTSIGNS provided posters and a table cover. To round out the event signage he could use for inside events, as well as to use outdoors during training sessions, FASTSIGNS also provided a retractable banner stand and a large, outdoor tear drop flag.
The Results
Once the makeover was complete, Bobby had signs and graphics in place to increase visibility and capture the attention of new, prospective clients. Whether on the road, outdoors training a large team of athletes or on a college campus selling apparel, the new visual communications promotes the Workhorse Lifestyle to a new audience, while effectively portraying the brand in a snapshot.
“The marketing products have definitely helped for increasing our visibility,” said Bobby Tran, owner of the Workhorse Lifestyle. “I receive the most compliments on the vehicle graphics and am able to generate traffic to my website simply by driving around in the city. The table cover and posters have added professionalism to my T-shirt sales—we set up on campus back in the spring and had huge success. I’m also looking forward to more outdoor classes with our flag advertising our brand! Overall, any time I display a FASTSIGNS product, I get a second look or a comment. Things have been going so well, I am now looking for a facility space to run my business.”
