XAAR SPONSORS PRINTIT! TO ENCOURAGE NEW TALENT INTO THE PRINT INDUSTRY

Tuesday 06. August 2013 - Xaar, the world's leading independent manufacturer of inkjet printheads, is proud to announce its continued sponsorship of the PrintIT! educational initiative - the sixth consecutive year of Xaar's involvement.

PrintIT! engages students from all over the UK to increase their awareness of the world of print, and showcase the latest print techniques.
As the largest “Schools into Industry” programme in the UK, adoption of the curriculum-based PrintIT! course continues to grow since the programme’s launch in 2005. Commenting on the standard of this year’s entries Richard Moore, Programme Director for Proskills, the standards-setting body behind PrintIT!, said: “The entries this year were of a really high standard and all of the finalists were worthy of the overall prize so the judges thought long and hard before reaching their decision.”
