Printing Industries of America Announces 2013 InterTech Technology Award Recipients

Thursday 18. July 2013 - Printing Industries of America has announced the recipients of the 2013 InterTech Technology Awards. The technologies receiving this respected award have been judged as truly innovative and are expected to advance the performance of the graphic communications industry.

An independent panel of judges deliberated over an outstanding selection of technology nominations which showcased the dynamic nature of the industry. Awards were bestowed upon technologies for digital production, large-format offset, flexographic plate imaging, printed product enhancements, and a substrate for printed electronics. The judges further recognized software solutions to facilitate color management, workflow for variable-data printing, and press training.

The InterTech stars, recognized as a symbol of technological innovation and excellence, will be presented before an audience of industry leaders during the 2013 Premier Print Awards Gala Featuring the InterTech Technology Awards and web2awards, September 8, in Chicago, Illinois.
A technology review booklet showcasing all of the year’s entries will be produced and distributed this fall at PRINT 13 and in the September issue of Printing Industries of America—The Magazine; the booklet will also be available at www.printing.org
