Tuesday 09. July 2013 - Product development, training & support team expanded -- Piet Saegeman appointed as Business Development Manager
CHILI Publish announces that the growth in revenue and customers they experienced in 2012 has continued into the first half of 2013. This growth has led to the hiring of additional employees to maintain the high-level of service, support and product innovation users of CHILI Publisher have come to expect from the leading developer of online document editing solutions.
“The last two years were a time of remarkable growth for CHILI Publish,” says Bram Verniest, CMO and managing partner of CHILI Publish. “As we made our plans for 2013, we developed an ambitious strategy to build on that success. Halfway through the year, I am very pleased to say that we are delivering on that plan. Our customer base and sales continue to grow at a rapid pace. Our growth – combined with new product releases and our worldwide event participation – has all ready made 2013 a success for CHILI Publish. We look forward to more accomplishments in the second half of this year.”
To keep that success going, CHILI Publish has hired additional staff in the areas of product development, training, office support and pre-sales. In addition, the company appointed Piet Saegeman as Business Development Manager. Piet has a strong background in the graphic arts industry, having held international business development roles at Creo and Kodak. Most recently, Piet managed business development for Apple in the Enterprise and Pro Market segment, which includes Print & Imaging, Design and Photography. “Piet’s consultative selling approach, combined with his technical expertise and communication skills, make him uniquely qualified for this role. We are proud that he is part of the CHILI Publish team,” comments Verniest.
In addition to the expanded sales and customer base, this year also included significant technical milestones. The company recently released CHILI Publisher 3.5, the next version of its online document editing solution. Packed with new features, improved functionality and the latest 3D visualization options, CHILI Publisher 3.5 offers print service providers an unseen level of editing functionally in a fully customizable, browser-based application.
This release, and the work of CHILI Publish, was well received at industry events worldwide, including Graphispag (Spain), PacPrint (Australia), Graphitec (France) and at EskoWorld 2013, which was held in The United States. The company is now preparing for its yearly customer event taking place September 5 in Belgium as well as Print 13, being held September 8- 13 in Chicago, Illinois, US.
