Chinese Packaging Industry continues investments into reel fed refining – Pantec GS Systems to deliver further e-pack 850 systems
Monday 17. June 2013 - Market leaders reinforce investments to move from sheet to reel processing - Pantec GS Systems demonstrates machine performance in June at open day
Pantec GS Systems announces the sale of another two e-pack 850 offline systems with CHEETAH rotary hot stamping to Chinese Tobacco Packaging companies after installing four systems in autumn 2012 already at Goldroc Packaging Co., Ltd.
For Peter Frei, CEO of Pantec GS Systems, the further investments in e-pack systems prove the adoption of Pantec GS Systems foil saving and hologram placement technology: “Goldroc is very satisfied with the significantly higher performance of CHEETAH in our e-pack reel to reel lines. Their enthusiasm conveys to other firms who follow the strategy to substitute sheet fed systems by reel fed.” A strategy, which can also be applied to other printing market sectors according to Frei: “For example, the amount of hot foil in chocolate packaging, combined with the volumes of these products, shows a similar potential like tobacco packages in China. For visionary people who care about the strategy of a company, it’s definitely worth watching what’s going in China and start thinking about production philosophies in the future.”
Pantec GS Systems will hold an open day at Goldroc plant in ChangDe, China, on June 20th to demonstrate the performance of reel fed refining for interested parties.
