ProImage announces sales and installations in India
Friday 31. May 2013 - New ProImage Limited has announced more international sales of its popular NewsWay workflow management and systems integration software.
In India Anandabazar Patrika (ABP) a Bengali language daily newspaper with a circulation of 1.28 million copies, has implemented a ProImage NewWay print production workflow management system to manage the throughput of its approximately 250 pages a day.
Mr. Snehasis Roy, Associate Vice President, Technical, ABP, said, “In addition to workflow management the Newsway system provides interfacing and excellent communication between prepress; Krause CTP; the ABB press console for soft proofing; ABB MPS for cut-off register control and ink value. It maximizes productivity and the quality produced by our Wifag OF 70 S press.”
Also in India The Hindu, one of the major English language newspapers in India and Malayala Manorama, the leading Malayala language newspaper in the country have both installed ProImage Press Register, an innovative software solution that corrects mis-registration on a printing press without the need to physically touch the press. Therefore near perfect color quality can be easily and cost-effectively achieved with even the oldest printing presses.
ABP Pvt. Ltd. has also ordered ProImage Press Register, to be installed in next fortnight.
