LINX SHOWCASES WIDE RANGE OF CODING SOLUTIONS AT FISPAL
Friday 10. May 2013 - At Fispal Tecnologia, Linx Printing Technologies will demonstrate its ability to deliver tailored coding solutions to meet the needs of a wide variety of end markets and applications, including food, beverages, cosmetics and personal care, pharmaceuticals, autoparts, extrusions and electronics.
Technologies on display at stand B/169 include the company’s latest models in continuous ink jet (CIJ), case coding, thermal ink jet, thermal transfer and laser coding. Localised sales and support for all Linx equipment is provided through the company’s Brazilian distributors PowerCoding and Vertec.
A major highlight of the stand will be the two newest Linx CIJ printers, both of which represent major advances in the technology. The recently-launched Linx 7900 offers a wealth of features at no extra cost, including state of the art Linx Insight software. This remote web interface allows users to monitor and control their Linx 7900 printers through a web browser, either via a PC or a web enabled Smartphone. This facility is unique to the Linx 7900 and means busy operators can keep their line moving, wherever they are.

New ink system technology enables the Linx 7900 printer to run for up to 9,000 hours or 18 months between services. As the Linx 7900 is one of the most reliable CIJ printers on the market, it also comes with a warranty of up to 18 months at no extra cost.
The radically new Linx CJ400 printer meanwhile offers a number of world-class features including portability, fastest set-up times and ease of use. Key innovations include its Easi-Change Service Module, which can be changed in minutes using on-screen prompts, without the need for a trained technician or service call, and the cleanest, most economical printhead, with cleaning intervals of up to three months. At just 13.5kg, it is also the lightest continuous ink jet printer on the market. Its most recent enhancement is new standard remote control software that enables users to control and monitor one, or several, printers from a single computer.
The just-launched Linx TJ725 thermal inkjet printer incorporates Simply Smart Technology to offer a high resolution, digital solution for coding onto outer cases, boxes, shelf ready trays and packaging.
The Linx TJ725 can cut waste and save money because it is ready to print straight away every time and with no hidden service costs, increasing production line efficiency.
Linx’s innovative new Active Cartridge Care System saves money and cuts waste by slowing the nozzle drying process, making first prints more reliable.

In addition, the replaceable ink cartridge with integral printhead means there is no risk of expensive printhead repairs or replacement. The Linx TJ725 can print messages up to a height of 12.5mm, with a range of fonts and resolutions up to 300dpi, on line speeds of up to 1 metre/sec.
The Linx IJ355 high definition case coder offers a cost-effective, easy to use alternative to other large character printers, and to the labelling or pre-printing of secondary packaging.
Its innovative ReFRESH system, robust design, and printhead protection technology mean significantly reduced downtime and savings on consumables. In particular, the ReFRESH system ensures premium print quality and also avoids wasted ink during printhead cleaning, thus saving time and money.
From its range of thermal transfer overprinters, Linx will show the Linx TT5, which has been designed to optimise productivity. It features a unique clutchless bi-directional ribbon drive that means minimal risk of ribbon breaks and no mechanical adjustments needed to maintain ribbon tension. Customers can enjoy superb code quality as well as a significant increase in production line uptime and lower cost of ownership.
Demonstrating the company’s capabilities in laser coding, Linx scribing lasers incorporate the innovative Visicode technology, which delivers a much clearer code onto cold glass and ensures bottlers’ running costs are kept low without compromising on line speed.
