Henri Dura Named CEO of GMC Software Technology
Friday 15. March 2013 - Dura Succeeds René Müller Who Will Now Serve as Chairman of GMC's Board of Directors
GMC Software Technology (GMC), the award winning leader in Customer Communications Management (CCM), announces Henri Dura, managing director of Neopost Document Solutions, will take the position of CEO of GMC Software Technology with immediate effect. Dura succeeds René Müller, founder and current president and CEO of the company.
France-based Neopost, a worldwide supplier of mailroom solutions, acquired GMC Software Technology in July 2012 as part of Neopost’s Document Solutions Group. Under Dura’s direction, GMC Software Technology will continue to operate autonomously.
“This is a significant hire for GMC as Henri brings a wealth of expertise to support the company’s continued growth in this dynamic marketplace,” said Müller. “Henri is well positioned to assist the markets we serve in realizing the significant return on investment our robust customer communication management solutions deliver in terms of customer experience, retention and reduced costs.”
Dura brings both marketing insight and international experience to GMC. In 2011, he was managing director of Neopost Document Solutions, responsible for building and growing the newly created Document Solutions Division. Prior to that, he held the role of chief marketing and strategy officer for the company, moving from managing director of Neopost France. Before joining Neopost, Dura held positions at Xerox, France Telecom, Kyocera and Pitney Bowes. He is a graduate of France’s Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris with a degree in economics and finance.
“I’m looking forward to this new opportunity,” said Dura. “Working with the existing, strong management team already in place at GMC, we will continue our focus on serving our customers’ business communications needs as the global leader in customer communications management. In addition to this, plans are to use the robust GMC software to deliver targeted solutions for small to medium-sized businesses, which are the core of Neopost’s business.”
Müller moves to become the chairman of the board and will take a full and active role focusing on business development.
