Eastman increases Esters prices on February 01

Tuesday 22. January 2013 - Eastman Chemical Company is increasing prices on the following products Feb. 1, or as contracts allow.

These increases are due to increased market demand and operating costs, particularly in raw materials.
EASTMAN EEP : Off-list price increase of $USD 0.03/lb ($USD 0.07/kg) globally.
EASTMAN n-Butyl Acetate All Grades : Off-list price increase of $USD 0.06/lb ($USD 0.13/kg) globally.
EASTMAN 2EH-Acetate : Off-list price increase of $USD 0.10/lb ($USD 0.22/kg) globally.
EASTMAN Isobutyl Acetate : Off-list price increase of $USD 0.06/lb ($USD 0.13/kg) globally.
EASTMAN n-Propyl Acetate : Off-list price increase of $USD 0.03/lb ($USD 0.07/kg) globally.
EASTMAN Isopropyl Acetate : Off-list price increase of $USD 0.06/lb ($USD 0.13/kg) globally.
EASTMAN Ethyl Acetate : Off-list price increase of $USD 0.03/lb ($USD 0.07/kg) globally.
EASTMAN IBIB : Off-list price increase of $USD 0.06/lb ($USD 0.13/kg) globally.
EASTMAN n-Butyl Propionate : Off-list price increase of $USD 0.03/lb ($USD 0.07/kg) globally.
