arvato Systems Presents the New Release of the arvato Learning Suite at Learntec 2013
Thursday 06. December 2012 - The next Learntec will take place from 29 to 31 January 2013 in Karlsruhe, Germany. At the fair the new release of the arvato Learning Suite (aLS) by arvato Systems will be showcased.
arvato Systems is looking to impress customers with its arvato Learning Suite (aLS) training management software due to basic improvements to the basis technologies and three central function upgrades. “Our developers did a really good job of extending room management services, integrating the ILIAS open-source learning management system, and connecting the EvaSys evaluation software from Electric Paper,” emphasizes Dr. Jens Prager, Director of Business Development at arvato Systems.
The significant improvements to the interface to the ILIAS open-source learning management system allow the aLS to offer the possibility to flexibly assign e-learning courses with all their components to events. The improvements also ensure that participants only have to log in to the LMS once (single sign-on) via their online portal and that results generated in e-learning elements in the aLS can be analyzed and used to determine learning outcomes.
The integration of EvaSys rounds off the new release. Surveys can now be automatically transferred from the aLS to EvaSys, which then conducts the evaluations either online or using printed paper forms. If, following the survey phase, any evaluations are present in EvaSys, an automatic export is made back into the aLS with reference to the corresponding event. Specific characteristics of events, such as locations and presenters, are automatically recognized without requiring any action on the part of the user.
“All in all, we’ve put together a convincing package that is going to impress our customers,” says a confident Dr. Jens Prager.
