Xeikon 3050 and ThermoFlexX 18 live at Labelexpo India 2012
Monday 29. October 2012 - Xeikon, an innovator in digital color printing, is showing the Xeikon 3050 in a roll-to-roll configuration and a ThermoFlexX 18 at Labelexpo India 2012.
The Xeikon 3050 will be printing labels, demonstrating the true power of digital label printing: short run labels production and fast time to market capabilities. Jobs will be combined using the InterTech Award-winning VariLane software add-on, which allows label printers to combine labels of different sizes and different SKUs within the same print job, thereby increasing productivity.
The press will also be demonstrating printing folding carton and signage applications in a roll-to-sheet configuration, for which it is perfectly suited. The Xeikon 3050 which can handle substrate widths of up to 516mm, can print on paper, label and folding carton substrates, without the need of pre-treatment or pre-coating.
The ThermoFlexX 18 will be shown at the booth of Repro Graphics (booth #G19), Xeikon’s dealer in India for the ThermoFlexX product line of CtP plate makers for flexo and letterpress markets.
Xeikon is the only player on the market who is able to offer its customers solutions for both flexo platemaking and digital label and packaging printing. Digital printing provides the perfect answer for short and medium runs and quick turnaround times, while the long runs will continue to rely on flexographic printing.
