Rotaweb now representing Goss in Mexico

Friday 19. October 2012 - Goss International and Heidelberg Mexico support formation of new company to support web offset operations in commercial, packaging and newspaper sectors

Goss International has appointed Rotaweb to represent Goss products and services in Mexico, effective October 1, 2012. The move provides commercial web, packaging and newspaper printers with specialized web offset expertise and direct access to comprehensive Goss technology and support resources.
Heidelberg Mexico previously served as the agent for Goss in that country. Mauricio Guerra, formerly sales manager of web offset sales for Heidelberg Mexico is now heading Rotaweb. He has been joined by other former Heidelberg Mexico employees specializing in the web offset sector. Guerra and his team work in close connection with Leonardo Clavijo, Goss International sales manager for Mexico.
“The establishment of Rotaweb is a positive step for printers and publishers in Mexico,” explains Clavijo. “Goss International and Heidelberg supported this development because it allows us to focus on delivering specialized products and services while also continuing to cooperate whenever it is in the best interests of our customers.”
Rotaweb represents the full line of Goss web offset presses for commercial, packaging and newspaper production, as well as Goss finishing systems. The company also provides access to services available through the substantial Goss International support infrastructure in North and South America.
“Goss International has established itself as the web offset leader in Mexico by providing technology that matches the specific production requirements in the country and backing it up with exceptionally responsive and cost-effective parts, service and enhancement capabilities,” according to Mauricio Guerra. “We value the opportunity to continue to serve printers and publishers via Rotaweb.”
Printers and publishers in Mexico have ordered more than 30 new Goss web presses in recent years, including Community SSC newspaper presses and M-500, M-600, M-800 and gapless Sunday commercial web presses in formats from 16 to 64 pages.
