FASTSIGNS 2012 MetamorphoSIGN Contest Winners Revealed
Thursday 04. October 2012 - Three Organizations Chosen by Online Votes to Receive Visual Communications Transformations
FASTSIGNS International, Inc., the franchisor of the more than 535 FASTSIGNS centers, today announced the winners of the 2012 MetamorphoSIGN contest. The online contest gives businesses and organizations a chance to enter and win a free visual communications makeover.
When the contest ended in August, there were 578 approved entries garnering more than 30,000 votes from the public in the three contest categories:
Conneaut Lake Park, in Conneaut, Pa., received the most votes within the brick and mortar category and will receive a makeover of up to $10,000.
The Workhorse Lifestyle, in Windsor, Ontario, received the most votes within the vehicle-based category and will receive a makeover of up to $5,000.
The Mohawk Hudson Humane Society in, Menands, N.Y., received the most votes in the nonprofit category and will receive a makeover of up to $5,000.
“From a 120-year-old historic amusement park that needs help reviving dated and worn signs, to an up and coming fitness entrepreneur that needs more ways to build awareness, to a 125-year-old humane society that is ready to update their graphics to better reflect new branding, the contest winners represent vastly different industries and different visual communications challenges,” said Drue Townsend, Senior VP of Marketing for FASTSIGNS International, Inc. “We are excited to consult with each winner to learn more about their marketing and business challenges so that we can help them accomplish their goals.”
