Enfocus Offers Smart Resources to start automating

Friday 28. September 2012 - New online 'Smart Automation Centre' provides quick and easy understanding of automation with infographics, tutorials, movies, and more

Enfocus makes new online resources on automation available in its ‘Smart Automation Center’. Automation has been identified as a priority for graphic arts organizations, and so Enfocus – maker of popular automation solution Switch – has compiled a collection of multi-media tools that will make it easy for graphic arts professionals to understand, and implement, time and cost-saving automation in their own workflows.
The debut of the Smart Automation Center coincides with the release of a new infographic, 6 Myths about Automation – Debunked, and the company’s newest white paper: Enfocus Switch: Business Thinking that Will Make You Successful – both are available in the Center as educational materials.
The Smart Automation Center’s white papers, infographics, basic automation flows, real use cases, webinars and movies give professionals a variety of ways to understand automation.
“We found that most production and print organizations are aware of the benefits of automation but often don’t know how to get started, because there is not enough straightforward information on what it is, and how to use it,” says Sukerti Van Schoorisse, marketing manager at Enfocus. “The Smart Automation Center is Enfocus’ answer to that problem. We’re emphasizing simple language and meaningful ideas that our industry can relate to, so they can make decisions about automating based on full understanding.”
Interested parties can enjoy the whole Smart Automation Center package, and receive additional resources via email, by simply registering. All content is downloadable.
The Newest (and Brief) White Paper: Business Thinking That Will Make You Successful
In this first of a series of educational briefs, Enfocus here explains how Switch automation is being used to automate repetitive tasks and serve customers better.
Readers will relate to a printer who feels frustrated by today’s economic limitations, and therefore doesn’t believe he can get more out of his existing systems without big investments, and stay competitive in a more demanding market at the same time.
The printer learns that accomplishing repetitive tasks associated with receiving, sorting, and processing files can be automated for surprisingly low outlay, thereby eliminating these tasks from his scope of responsibility. Switch’s automation of these tasks standardizes processes, reduces errors, and frees up resources, resulting in substantial savings in time and money. As a result, the printer has time available for activities that create added value, such as customer service, creative, marketing and sales opportunities, or simply concentrating on core business services.
6 Myths About Automation – Debunked!
Less than a couple of weeks after its first Infographic, “Why Preflight?” created a resounding roar of viral approval over social media channels, Enfocus has released another fun-to-read and impactful Infographic that clarifies and corrects the most commonly-shared myths about Automation. Fears about expense, complexity, and job losses are just a few myths put to rest in this brief but powerful Infographic – also available to anyone registering at the Smart Automation Center.
